USA – January 7, 2015 —SIM2 Multimedia takes the visual experience to the next level at the 2015 CES, with the introduction of the NERO 3 - the third LED series in its portfolio - that will generate further business opportunities for our partners!
Joining the other two SIM2’s LED-based projector lines, namely M. series (the professional applications line featuring DCI colorimetry and 0,95” DLP Chipset) and NERO 20th (the competitively-priced, high-performance solid-state projector), NERO 3 and NERO3 ST (short throw ratio) incorporates a solid-state light source (SIM2 PureLED), and 1-chip DLP technology to deliver 1,400 lumens of light output (the equivalent of 2,000 lumens on lamp-based projectors), a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, and a color gamut 135% that of the NTSC TV standard. NERO 3 is not just the brightest in its category, but also delivers the widest, lifelike colorimetry and the best video processing.

Thanks to SIM2 PureLED technology:

  • The LED light source lasts the projector’s entire life cycle. No maintenance needed with consequent low cost of ownership;
  • The LED light source provides a wider and more consistent color gamut, with richer and better color rendition;
  • No mercury lamps and no need of lamp replacement hence avoiding the pollution caused by its disposal activity.
  • And, with SIM2’s NERO 3, consumer electronics becomes more environmentally conscious and allows customers to feel good about the impact of their purchase in the environment. NERO 3 sports a cabinet made of crystal-glass, a pure and sustainable material capable of being recycled indefinitely. Crystal-glass is also resistant to light and high/low temperatures, hence looking always brand new even after years of use.
    Ease of installation is assured with a wide adjustment range of Zoom, along with both Horizontal and Vertical lens shift. Connecting your favorite video sources is simple; thanks to the wide choice of inputs that includes two HDMI 1.4 sockets, and connections are concealed beneath an hinged crystal cover.
