The C3X LUMIS HC is a revolutionary dual mode 3 chip Full HD projector based on the C3X LUMIS platform. “HC” is the acronym of Hyper Color because of the projector capability to render a variety of color gamuts. The projector peculiarity is the new SIM2’s motorized Sliding Filter System (SFS) inside the optical engine. With this new FIRST in SIM2 optical development, the projector results a versatile display to be used in custom market segment applications such as Home Cinema, DCI or other professional applications like photography where dedicated color reproduction is the technical key.
The C3X LUMIS HC standard version* has been designed in order to provide full DCI color reproduction a swell as standard HDTV (Rec. 709). Upon request, other filters can be ordered to create a unique custom product.**

SFS in details:

SFS is a motorized system able to move two different filters inside the optical light path. The driver command is sent either via IR (by OSD) and via RS-232 and the gamut change is performed in few seconds. The round filters are mounted on a very precise and resistant mechanical holder ensuring reliability of the whole product along its entire lifespan.
